I have just coined a new term to represent the transport of data over IP (Internet Protocol.) I believe this term should be synonomous with everything ‘data’ over the Internet, as it relates to most things. VoIP (or Voice over Internet Protocol) is synonomous with ‘voice,’ and I felt we needed something similar for data. From now on, I will refer to anything that’s data and IP related as DoIP. ‘Data’ includes the transport of databases, files, and raw data over IP networks (internet and intranet.) I believe this will make better sense in the longrun.

It’s almost 1 AM, yet I am up dinking around online at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kansas City, Missouri. Anyway, I am happy to see Spring! It’s my second most favorite season of the year (first being Summer.) I hope to catch some bands this summer, like Michael McDonald (my favorite), Dave Matthews Band, Kem, and a few others. I am actually thinking about attending Bonaroo this year, but I’m not certain. I also hope to take a few trips this Summer, as I enjoy traveling with a passion.

For the ‘New Year’ and a ‘Fresh Start,’ I decided to purchase a new Honda this past Feburary. I am very much so liking ‘the ride.’ I am actually glad to be out of my Ford. I don’t miss it at all, but I had great memories, and plenty of road trips in it. I look forward to new trips, and new memories, in the Honda.
