What is out there?

In increasing frequency recently, I’ve been asking myself this question — what is out there in the universe, well beyond our own vast galaxy? Science always interested me as a kid, and into adulthood. It’s part of my thinking “outside the box,” given that I know with full conviction that other intelligent life forms exist.

Hopefully within my lifetime, we might make advancements to bring the universe closer to home. There is life beyond planet Earth, and I’d love to experience what lurks light years beyond our current reach.
