Digg for Bloggers

Bloggers: We are lacking a “fair and balanced” tool for the dissemination of our content.

Digg is out. So is Newsvine and every other website which relies upon a community of users, because as I’ve discovered, when you arm “Web 2.0 jocks” with too many tools, you effectively encourage great abuse.

So, what is the solution? There are many a great bloggers breaking new and interesting stories, have great original content, but unfortunately, lack appropriate venues for fair and unbiased distribution of their work.

Yes, there’s Technorati and Google Blog Search. However, they do not solve the problem of “fair and balanced”. I guess a “digg for bloggers” would be ideal, but without everything digg is known for.

So, let’s think out loud. Or, is there something I’ve overlooked? Let me know.
