Content Distribution Vs. Sponsorship: Which Is Better?
This is the question I asked myself recently — Are content distribution deals better than seeking sponsorship for digital media? My initial gut instinct is in agreement with the former. I had a ‘d’oh’ moment when I began dissecting the pros and cons of the two, and so far, content distribution appears to be a better vehicle for monetizing digital works (videos and audio).
So, I’ve decided to switch my focus away from sponsorship to seeking content distribution deals. I think the latter is an easier deal to seal and I’ve got the content to make them happen. Wish me luck!
