A Stumblin’ Surprise from Turkey

Posted May 30th, 2007 in All by Ronald Lewis

If you haven’t noticed by now, I rarely make comments about attractive women on my site. However, today, I couldn’t help but to say to myself, “Wow!”, when I received a random message from a visitor in Istanbul, Turkey.

It’s hard to deny this woman’s natural beauty! Too bad she lives so damn far away. You can even tell she’s not a North American woman. Goodness. Maybe I need to live abroad to see what “ladies” and “women” are all about.

Surface Computing Goes Mainstream with Microsoft Surface

Posted May 29th, 2007 in Gadgets & Tech by Ronald Lewis

At 12:01 AM EST, Microsoft today unveiled Surface, a new surface-based computing platform designed for uses in many industries and applications including lodging, food services, shopping and more. Revolutionary in thought and design, Microsoft has engineered one of the world’s first and fully functional surface-based PC platforms.

This is an exciting development for the industry — and Microsoft — as it ushers in a new way for human beings to interact with technology like never before. Under development since 2001, Microsoft has throughly surprised the general public and its competitors with a product that no one saw coming out of Redmond (not even myself).

Some of the demos provided by Microsoft depict Surface being used in a restaurant for food ordering, comparing mobile phones and organizing family photos. Launch partners include Sheraton Hotels, Harrah’s Entertainment and more.

To learn more about Surface, visit the web site where you’ll find press releases, videos and more.

Memorial Day Weekend

Posted May 26th, 2007 in All by Ronald Lewis

I seem to forget every major holiday in the US with the exception of Christmas. I just don’t keep track of them is all. I don’t have any plans for the long weekend, but I hope everyone enjoys their time with family and loved ones.

I’ll be here at home, relaxing, on the cam, and maybe having a few drinks.
