Bloomberg: UPS Set to Cancel $2 Billion A380 Order

Posted in All by Ronald Lewis

In what appears to be a series of setbacks for the A380 program, United Parcel Service (UPS) is canceling its $2 Billion+ order for the jumbo Airbus jet. UPS is to replace the A380 with Boeing aircraft, likely the next-generation 747.

The A380 originally held a lot of promise for next-gen jumbo aircraft technology, but now, it doesn’t look so promising. Still, I’m looking forward to taking a flight on the new jet at some point in the future.
