Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel Resigns

Broke first on CNBC, Yahoo! confirms the departure of CEO Terry Semel in press release. TechCrunch, Mashable, ValleyWag and Yahoo!’s own Yang all weigh in on the news.

Personally, no Hollywood exec is ever a good fit for an Internet company. Yahoo! was once the darling of all Internet companies, and it has since given its throne to Google, and eventually — Microsoft (who, at some point, will probably acquire the company).

I’ve Been Spotted … In Europe!

For almost two weeks now, I have been a guinea pig for “lifecasting” — which involves streaming your life (via camera) online for the world to see. I’ve since launched Lifecasters.TV — A production entity for individuals and businesses, and our first lifecaster, Dennis G (a former meth addict and troubled kid — he has an amazing and inspiring story to tell other troubled youth and their parents). So, the word is out … I’m now “The Video Guy”.

Anyway, today, I was looking for news related to a few platforms I’m testing for Live TV on the Internet, and I found my mug on Europe’s Tech Digest. If you look at the second picture in the article, I am pictured in the second tube to the right. Pretty cool.

I’ve just published part one of a three part exclusive interview with the co-founders of Engage. No business can afford not to hear what the executives of Engage have to say about their new Engage ThoughtWare solution.

I’ve also reached an agreement with the company to provide a substantial discount to those listening to this interview. It’s a win-win deal for everyone. Let the reinvention of business begin!
