Denver ranked number one in a recent survey of Americans about cities they desired to live in. The city topped New York, Los Angeles, Miami and others in the Pew survey. Living in Denver for over two years now, it’s easy to see why Denver is such a desirable city to live:
- The Rocky Mountains
- Number one transit agency for 2009
- Lower unemployment (compared to rest of nation)
- Better quality of life
- 300 days of sunshine per year
- Better winters (compared to the Midwest and Northeast)
- Active, progressive people
- Great nightlife
- Strong business community
- Great universities and research centers
I loved Denver so much that I decided to stay during a one week vacation. It’s been a great place to live and my life couldn’t be better overall!
