Google Acquires GrandCentral

GrandCentral, a free service which provides a universal voicemail box and phone number, has been acquired by Google. Originally tipped by TechCrunch, Google makes the rumor official today on their blog. Expect integration across many Google properties including GMail, GTalk and other services.

Google has added yet another “secret weapon” to its growing portfolio of services and solutions.
