Holy Zipper! It Failed!

Last night (Friday), I received a pleasant surprise just before the start of my movie: The zipper on my two-week old cargo shorts failed. I made a pit stop before the start of the movie and just as I finished, the zipper fell off.

It turns out that the zipper isn’t even metal, but plastic! Hey, I know I’m not an expensive dresser, but damn, a zipper made of plastic!? I’ll be returning this pair over the weekend for an exchange. It wasn’t much fun trying to cover my very open fly while walking home from the movies.
