My Top 5 Favorite Vehicles

Posted in All by Ronald Lewis

As a toddler, my Dad and I would go for walks at night with our dog, and he’d quiz me on cars of interest. “What kind of car is that, son?” I’d respond, and was usually right. Ironically, my knowledge of cars didn’t transition to a love for them. My interests were basic and simple. I didn’t care much for luxury vehicles either. Well, how things have changed in the last few years.

I was always a big Ford guy. My first car was a 1984 Ford Tempo. Second, a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier. Third, a 2001 Ford Taurus. And finally, a 2005 Honda Accord. The Accord was my first new car. My taste in cars changed dramatically.

I’ve become an import guy. My new love are Volvo cars, followed by Honda. I love Volvo’s mixture of safety with elegant, yet simple Scandinavian design. For me, less is more, and Volvo achieves this objective across their entire line. Volvo’s design philosophy matches my personality, which again, is all about keeping things simple, yet elegant and contemporary. Fine lines, comfort, and a bold yet simple design is uniquely Volvo.

So, on with my Top 5 favorite cars:

1. 2007 Volvo S80 – Just look at the beauty of this car!

2. 2007 Volvo XC90 – The best SUV there is!

3. 2007 Volvo S40 – A great mid-compact!

4. 2007 Honda Accord – Proven history, fuel-efficient (34MPG w/4 cylinder engine), and elegant design

5. 2007 Ford F150 – I love pickups, and Ford leads the pack!
