Podium + Social Media = Lots of Inspired People

Posted in Random by Ronald Lewis

Never in a million years did I imagine myself as a public speaker. For years, many people told me that I’d be on stage talking to people, but it never registered with me. Honestly, I am sometimes uncomfortable when speaking to large groups, but I’ve discovered these days that it’s somewhat mild. If anything, it’s a suppression of thought and an anxiety to speak out when I’d like to share my views.

Recently, I shared my Breaking Barriers open letter with the world. It’s a platform which I expect will evolve on a national and global scale. Initially, it will focus on the inspiration of our youth, while I continue to fine-tune the platform to include other demographics, issues and so on.

The most exciting thing about this development is that in addition to making public appearances, I’ll also use the power of the Internet to inspire individuals as well. I am sooooooooooo excited about this opportunity — I am super pumped and I can hardly contain my excitement when speaking to people about this project.

I’m looking forward to my first speaking engagement here in Denver.
