Keynote: “Government In Our Hands”

Update: Keynote now featured on Keynotes.org

I had the pleasure on March 17, 2012 of speaking to attendees at the 2012 Colorado Libertarian State Convention in Aurora, Colorado at the DoubleTree. My keynote, “Government In Our Hands”, was well-received and a lot of questions were asked. It’s a controversial talk that challenges government, money and politics as we know it in the 21st century.

Rick Santorum: Ron Paul Is Limited Government

Posted in Politics & Government by Ronald Lewis

The desire to have limited government in our lives shouldn’t be a conservative issue, but an American one. In a video that has gone viral, Rick Santorum quips to a journalist: “Vote for Ron Paul if you want limited government.” This is a damaging admission by Santorum. If you are the “conservative choice,” why endorse another candidate?

So what exactly is Santorum offering? He’s just another fake.

2012: This is Ron Paul’s Former Landlord

Posted in Politics & Government by Ronald Lewis

Who is Marc Heidemann? He just happens to be Ron Paul’s former landlord. Heidemann leased Paul office space in Southeast Houston during the earlier years of Paul’s career in Washington.

In this interview, Heidemann offers a priceless story about Ron Paul and his impact on the current political landscape in America.

Ugly Dog for Ron Paul in 2012!

My good friend Ugly Dog supports Ron Paul for President in 2012! As former Obama supporters, we learned a painful lesson we dare not repeat.

Restore America Now. Vote for Ron Paul in 2012.

Boomerang: America Is Now ‘Ground Zero’ for Major Protests, Anger

Posted in Politics & Government by Ronald Lewis

For months, Americans watched the Middle East uprising, mass civil unrest in Europe and elsewhere without much concern. Long ago, I warned that these instabilities would find its way to America. That time is here.

From #OccupyWallStreet to intense gridlock in Washington, America is now facing a great collapse after decades of easy money, arrogance and ignorance. And growing numbers of Americans are now forced to take action.

In this video, I discuss current events, alternatives to Washington, #OccupyWallStreet, and other issues that affect America and the world.

Dear Colorado Governor Hickenlooper: Please Ban the TSA

Posted in Politics & Government by Ronald Lewis

I submitted the letter below to Governor Hickenlooper’s office on May 26 @ 9 am.

Mr. Hickenlooper,

If you stand for the US Constitution, I urge you to stand for the people and ban the TSA statewide for its blatant violation of the 4th amendment. This is America. We do not violate the people’s rights. We stand up for and protect them.

Do you stand with the people and the constitution, Mr. Hickenlooper? Isn’t that what public officials swear to, or is it simply theater with a little business thrown in?

Regards,

Ronald Lewis

Revolt! Stop the Federal Reserve’s Destruction of the Dollar!

Posted in Politics & Government by Ronald Lewis

Dear Federal Reserve System: If you believe in what’s right, please stand with me, the US Constitution and others to make America better. The Federal Reserve is unconstitutional. This is fact. Put your jobs on the line. Save the future of your friends and family. The American people are suffering from high energy and food costs. Our currency has lost more than ninety-percent of its purchasing power since 1913. This isn’t fair. It’s not right. It’s wrong. The American people are tired of being misled and lied to. The Federal Reserve will self-destruct at the heavy hand of Ben Bernanke’s policies. He does not have the power to right the destructive course we’re all on. Any hope for containing the damage caused by the Federal Reserve is beyond its control.

I urge you to do what’s right. For America. For your fellow citizen. For our future. Call for Bernanke’s immediate resignation. Be the change within. Be the solution to the problem. Stand up for the ideals of America. We can make our country whole again.

The US Government just breached its $14.3 trillion debt ceiling (translation: Washington is ‘officially’ broke). The US Dollar is at a three-year low (translation: fewer dollars to save, vacation, invest, shop, etc.). 90% of the Dollar’s purchasing power has evaporated since 1913. The Federal Reserve, Treasury Department and others are calling for an increase to America’s debt ceiling. Just say NO!

Stop the Fed’s destructive monetary policy on the US Dollar. Support competing currencies in America under HR4248. Call 202-452-3000. Ask for Ben Bernanke’s office or public affairs. Tell them he’s fired. Demand accountability now! Time is running out for the Federal Reserve and the US Dollar. Both will self-destruct thanks to quantitative easing, the Fed’s $3 trillion balance sheet, and the many liabilities the Fed has no control over.

Grill the Federal Reserve on high gasoline, food and commodities prices. Ask for the truth. Call 202-452-3000. Ask for Bernanke’s office. Tell them Ben Bernanke is fired. Ask for public affairs. Ask them about monetary policy. Demand they be accountable to you as a taxpayer. Grill the Federal Reserve on monetary policy at 202-452-3000.

America: It’s Time To Leave Both Parties

Posted in Politics & Government by Ronald Lewis

If you are a democrat or republican, it’s time to ask yourself some tough questions. In the last twenty years — under the leadership of democrats and republicans — Americans have been dragged through recessions, bubbles, and endless wars that were never constitutionally declared or in the best interest of the people.

Both parties have failed to serve America and protect the U.S. Constitution. We deferred our responsibility to maintain a moral government to corrupt politicians and showbiz politics. We were bamboozled by the spin and image of both parties.

Ultimately, it is we the people who must pay for the recklessness of D.C. politics in the form of decreased purchasing power, freedom, and liberty. Is this what you stand for as an American? The “real war” is right here at home and we’re losing to incompetent and corrupt politicians we’ve allowed to lead us.

We have reached a critical juncture in America’s history. The problems we face cannot be solved by the current crop of “leaders” or voting for the same people each election. We must think openly and rationally about the damage both parties have done to our beloved country. Our job as citizens does not end at the voting booth — that’s only the start of it.

Democrats and republicans in Washington have given Americans plenty of reasons to defect and chart a new course in American politics. The leaders of both parties have had ample time to prove their love for America. Instead, they chose to give us a whopping $12 Trillion debt and a $2 Trillion war.

Are the policies and actions of your elected officials acceptable to you?

If you care anything about your country, leave your party, or prolong the pain we’ve yet to experience.

Ron Paul: Campaign for Liberty

Posted in Politics & Government by Ronald Lewis

Former presidential candidate Ron Paul is a man to love, admire and respect. For decades, Paul has been the most vocal supporter of sound money management, small government and freedom in America. While the American people did not favor his platform for creating a new America, Paul is charging forward with a new revolution to ensure America’s future.

Paul sent this e-mail today and I thought I’d share it with others. If you care about America’s future, read on.

Over the past 17 months you and I delivered a message of freedom, the likes of which American politics has not seen in decades. With the primary season now over, the presidential campaign has come to an end. But the Revolution has only begun.

Today I am happy to announce the official launch of the Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty. Please visit our new website and join us: http://www.campaignforliberty.com

Over the next few months I will be developing a program, assembling a team, and announcing new and exciting projects. We will have a permanent presence on the American political landscape. That I promise you.

Right now, I need your patience and support. I want the Campaign for Liberty to be a grassroots campaign; so your energy, your creativity, your feedback, and your participation are essential.

Together, we will educate our fellow Americans in freedom, sound money, non-interventionism, and free markets. We will write commentaries and broadcast videos on the news of the day. And I’ll work with friends whom I respect to design materials for homeschoolers.

Politically, we will expand the great work of our precinct leader program. We will make our presence felt at every level of government. We will keep an eye on Congress, and lobby against legislation that threatens us. And we will identify and support candidates who champion our great ideas.

“In the final analysis,” I wrote in my new book The Revolution: A Manifesto, “the last line of defense in support of freedom and the Constitution consists of the people themselves. If the people want to be free, if they want to lift themselves out from underneath a state apparatus that threatens their liberties, squanders their resources on needless wars, destroys the value of their dollar, and spews forth endless propaganda about how indispensable it is and how lost we would all be without it, there is no force that can stop them.”

Our time has come to act on these words.

May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in a moment of great crisis, stood up to their politicians, the opinion-makers, and the establishment, and saved their country.

For liberty,

Ron Paul

P.S. Please join me. Go to our website, www.campaignforliberty.com, and become a member of the Campaign for Liberty. Our goal is 100,000 members by September. Can we reach it?
