I frequent Panera Bread and Starbucks several times a month. Both have friendly staff, a familiar brand and premium offerings.
However, I often fantasize about what they’d be like — together. StarPanera? PaneraBucks? Starbucks? Okay, who cares about names. What any consumer cares about is great service, quality and a great dining experience. These guys exceed well at both — everyday!
Wouldn’t it be great to have your favorite Starbucks coffee along with a delicious turkey sandwich and whole grain baguette? Imagine a one-stop shop of choices for great meals, beverages, snacks and desserts. Both provide comfortable environments to enjoy an evening with the family, a colleague — well, anyone, really.
I think Panera and Starbucks have a complimentary customer base, so why not combine the “best of the best” into a new experience that customers of both will enjoy? What do you think?
